Who is a good candidate for the Splendor X?

Splendor X is generally suitable for all skin tones—even tanned skin—and for all body areas and types of hair. However, laser hair removal may not be right for everyone and does carry some risks. Splendor X isn’t suitable if you have an active infection or inflammation; viral, fungal, or bacterial disease; active cold sore; or open wound or abrasion in the area you want to treat. Risks may include changes to skin pigmentation and texture.

How soon can I see results?

Laser hair removal requires multiple treatments. The laser most effectively disables hair that is in the Active Growth Phase. Because all the hair in the treated area may not be in the Active Growth Phase, more than one treatment is necessary to remove the hair. We generally recommend a minimum of 10-12 laser treatments, spaced 6-8 weeks apart for best results. Treatments are spaced apart so that, when these hairs ultimately enter the growing phase, they will be effectively treated during  future treatments. Hair removal results may vary based on thickness of hair, tone and texture.

Is there any down time?

How the area will look right after treatment varies from person to person. You may have some redness and swelling around hair follicles straight after. In the following weeks, you will notice less hair growth as you progress through the course of your treatments. We will give you aftercare guidelines, especially pertaining to sun protection.
